At this level, workers complete tasks under supervision involving known routines and procedures or complete routine but variable tasks in collaboration with others in a team environment. Academic Requirements:
There are no prerequisites for this nationally recognised qualification.
Admission Requirements:
There are no barriers to entry based on age (other than post school students over 16), gender, social or educational background. Students need to be able bodied and have the physical capacity to undertake the practical application of the program.
Student should have foundation skills at the ACSF levels listed below. This is tested during our Pre-training review. Each student is required to complete the Language, Literacy & Numeracy assessment to determine what level they are currently working at & if they are suitable to proceed with this qualification. Where students do not have skills, they may be provided with additional support to develop their literacy and numeracy skills to this level if appropriate, or alternatively they will be provided information on other more appropriate courses.
USI Requirements:
Learners are required to comply with Evidence of enrolments at the time of enrolment with DIVTEC Training College. Students are required to provide appropriate forms of IDs to confirm their eligibility to enrol in this course. Students are required to apply for unique student identification (USI) number while their study period in Australia and this information will be handed to the students at the time of orientation (www.usi.gov.au).
IT Requirements:
This qualification requires a basic understanding and use of computers and the Internet. Support will be provided as required to develop the student’s skills.

To successfully achieve the HLT23221 – Certificate II in Health Support Services (Health Administration), twelve (12) units must be completed which are made up of:
4 core units
8 elective units
All electives chosen must contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome.

The course is delivered in a blended way incorporating face to face classroom learning as well as online learning with your trainer. Support is provided by your trainer on a needs basis through email and phone contact.
VET in Schools:
Delivery of this program is in the school by our trainer. Delivery options can vary from 1 Period to 3 Periods per week depending on the needs of the school. Our trainers are connected to industry and can provide opportunities to the school for excursions to various allied health and day centres to give the students an insight to the industry.
Typically the training is over 40 weeks over 4 Terms, with Catch Up Classes included to assist the Year 11 students to successfully complete the course.
