About DIVTEC Training and Further Education

DIVTEC is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) regulated by the Australian Skills Quality Authority. Our mission is excellence in health and community services training. We have been around for over 10 years providing qualified workers to the industry.

We are a boutique RTO specialising in nationally accredited courses in Disability, Individual Support, Health Services as well as Allied Health. In addition, we also provide a range of nationally accredited short course programs (Skill Sets). These Skill Sets are designed for learners wishing to expand their existing skills and knowledge as well as professionals wanting to develop further skills within their industry for continuing professional development. These Skill Sets are from the community services, business and health qualifications.

We offer nationally recognised qualifications in a range of industry areas including:

In addition, DIVTEC provides non-accredited bespoke professional development training assisting the NDIS sector and its workers in the areas of Manual Handling; Administering Medication; Epilepsy and Midazolam Training; Diabetes Awareness; Introduction to Meal Assistance via PEG and Supporting Individuals with Autism.

Contributing over 25 years' experience in the VET sector to DIVTEC Training and Further Education. Drawing on public and private RTOs across a range of domestic, national and international experiences.

Devony Cleghorn VET in Schools and Allied Health Trainer & Assessor
Devony Cleghorn VET in Schools and Allied Health Trainer & Assessor

Contributing to the Health Care and Individual Support industry with over 5 years’ experience. Diverse experience ranges from Talent Scheduling and Crisis Management as well as Manager of a group-based activity Day Services Centre. This experience compliments the training in the VET in Schools programs where Devony was once the product of our own VET in Schools program, one that she now delivers. In addition, the role of a Workplace Trainer for the Traineeships in Allied Health allows access to various workplaces to pass own knowledge and experiences. Qualifications in Bachelor of Psychology, with a focus on mental health, and well as Allied Health provides context for students and clients. Being passionate about making a different in students' life and guiding them to find a career path in the industry is a lifelong drive for Devony.

Contributing over 10 years in the healthcare industry, specialising in Individual Support, Challenging Behaviours and Residential Support work. As a trainer, experience is drawn from working in residential homes caring and supporting participants with various ranges of disability including Autism, Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), Schizophrenia and Bipolar.

Contributing over 7 years in the health care industry, specialising in Allied Health in Aged Care, Rehabilitation and Disability.
As an Allied Health Assistant has extensive workplace experience in Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy.
